ABOUT RHONDA FUNK
It was hard earned after driving over 120,000 miles and playing over 200 shows in 18 months through a world wide pandemic, that Rhonda Funk was named the 2022 USA Entertainer of the Year, (also nominated 2022 USA Female Songwriter of the Year). Previously the triple threat singer/songwriter/recording artist took home the 2021 USA Silver Entertainer of the Year, nominated in four other categories including USA Female Vocalist of the Year, USA Album of the Year for her latest EP “Ain’t Your Momma” , along with USA Female Single of the Year for “Cumberland Falls”.
Winning her first award in August of 2020, Rhonda took home the 2020 ISSA Silver Award Winner for USA Female Single of the Year for her song “Someday“, (also nominated for USA Female Songwriter of the Year and Female Vocalist of the year). She also found her name listed on the 2020 Grammy Ballot for consideration for a nomination for “Best Americana Album”. Rhonda, who signed a two year record deal on January 1, 2020 with Pure Music Nashville, quickly released this powerful six-pack called “Ain’t Your Momma” featuring five original songs and one cover by Jon Bon Jovi.
The first singles off of the album, “Cumberland Falls“ and “More Than a Table“ broke a combined total of 200k streams on Spotify before the entire EP released. “Ain’t Your Momma” has reeled in over 5 million streams on Soundcloud since its release.
